Healthcare Transportation Company Hires Three Veteran
Healthcare Sales Executives
Elmhurst, IL, April 19, 2011 - MedSpeed LLC, ,
an ISO-certified technology-enhanced healthcare transportation
partner that brings sophistication and an analytical approach to
healthcare transportation infrastructures, today announced that it
has hired three new executives to support its rapid national
growth. Beth Wieczorek has been named area vice president for
the northeast region, Tim Cranford has been named area vice
president for the southeast region, and Jason Baumgartner has been
named area vice president for the southwest region.

innovative ways to maximize efficiency and improve quality and

Beth Wieczorek is a seasoned healthcare supply executive with
more than 20 years of industry experience. Most recently, she
founded Global Outsource Solutions (GOS) where she worked with
clients to develop sales and marketing strategies, product
development and launch, and non-profit fundraising programs.
Previously, she held the position of vice president for RecoverCare
and before that she spent 18 years with Cardinal Health as the
region director of distribution. During her time at Cardinal,
Ms. Wieczorek managed sales and operations for a $320 million
medical distribution business with 150 employees and four
facilities. She is currently the chair of the Visiting Nurse
Association (VNA) Foundation of MedStar Health, which provides
medical services to patients at home. Ms. Wieczorek is also on the
executive board of the Casey Cares Foundation, which provides
services and support for terminally ill children and their families
in Maryland, DC and Delaware.
Tim Cranford is an established leader who brings more than 25
years of strategic healthcare experience to MedSpeed. Prior
to joining the firm, Mr. Cranford led the national sales operation
for the $17 billion HealthTrust Purchasing Group (HPG) for the last
six year as vice president of national sales. Prior to that,
he oversaw HPG's GPO sales/marketing, compliance, communication,
customer service and member services functions as the vice
president of GPO operations. Over the course of his career,
Mr. Cranford has held roles with several healthcare innovators,
including: HCA, where partnered with organizations to identify
global objectives and develop solutions to reach them; G.D. Searle
& Co., where, as a district sales manager, he led the number
one district in the region and won the Excellence in Achievement
award twice; and Bristol Myers Squibb where he grew territory
revenue by $3.5 million and won the National Sales Representative
award.
Jason Baumgartner is a proven sales executive who has developed
and managed long-standing, strategic partnerships with leaders in
the healthcare community. Before joining MedSpeed, Mr. Baumgartner
worked for the $17 billion HealthTrust Purchasing Group (HPG) as a
regional vice president of sales at Health Trust Purchasing Group
(HPG) as a regional vice president of sales where he grew
membership through-out the west. Prior to that, Mr.
Baumgartner spent 13 years with Cardinal Health in various roles
from sales and sales management, to director of Health Systems and
National Accounts. In addition, Jason managed the Group
Purchasing Organization (GPO) relationships for Cardinal health and
earned several accolades, including: SP Lab Regional Manager of the
year 2005 and Regional Health Systems Manager of the year 2006.
