Healthcare Transportation Company Hires Veteran Healthcare Sales Executive

Elmhurst, IL, October 11, 2011 - MedSpeed LLC, an ISO-certified, technology-enhanced healthcare transportation solutions provider that helps organizations reduce risk and achieve maximum business value, today announced that it has named Mark Holroyd as regional vice president for the company's central region. As MedSpeed has experienced rapid national growth, the healthcare transportation company has expanded its executive sales force.  In this role, Mr. Holroyd will collaborate with clients to support their strategic goals through the creation of globally-optimized logistical frameworks.

Mark Holroyd is an established healthcare sales executive with more than 25 years of experience.  Prior to joining MedSpeed, Mr. Holroyd was regional vice president for HealthTrust Purchasing Group, where he worked with hospitals and health systems to achieve drug and supply cost reductions in excess of ten percent.  Previously, he led a corporate sales team with an annual revenue responsibility of over $500 million in Ohio as vice president, corporate solutions for Cardinal Health; achieved a reputation for sales leadership as regional manager for Allegiance Healthcare; and led the worldwide marketing organization for cardiac output monitoring as marketing manager for Edwards Lifesciences.  Mr. Holroyd began his career in medical supply sales working for American Hospital Supply and Baxter Healthcare.  He currently serves as vice president, board of directors for Central Ohio Diabetes Association, and secretary, board of directors for American College of Healthcare Executives local Ohio chapter.
