MedSpeed Appoints Timothy O’Day to Chief Operating Officer

CHICAGO, Dec. 4, 2006 - MedSpeed LLC, a rapidly growing healthcare transportation and logistics company, today announced it has appointed Timothy O'Day to the position of chief operating officer, effective immediately. He will report directly to Jake Crampton, co-founder and chief executive officer.
O'Day brings to MedSpeed a history of successful executive leadership experience from both the large corporate and entrepreneurial worlds. He began his career with Abbott Laboratories and most recently held the position of president of Coast to Coast Copiers. "We've successfully built our business by offering healthcare organizations a highly professional and cost effective alternative to coordinating the movement of patient-critical materials," said Crampton. "Tim will ensure that we continue to provide our close outsourcing relationships with an unparalleled level of service."

As COO, O'Day will direct and oversee all of MedSpeed's current and future operations. He will also provide essential leadership to the company as it continues to serve as a strategic partner to healthcare organizations, enabling them to significantly improve their logistics functions while reducing operating costs. O'Day earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
