MedSpeed Appoints Jon Crispi to Director of Quality

MEDSPEED APPOINTS JON CRISPI TO DIRECTOR OF QUALITY AND
JOSE
MAGDALENO TO GENERAL MANAGER

CHICAGO, Aug. 6, 2007 - MedSpeed LLC, a
transportation outsourcing partner to the healthcare industry,
today announced it has appointed Jon Crispi to the position of
director of quality and Jose Magdaleno to the position of general
manager of operations - Chicago, effective immediately. Both Crispi
and Magdaleno will report directly to Timothy O'Day, chief
operating officer.
In his new role, Crispi will govern a comprehensive quality
assurance program and be responsible for the implementation of
quality initiatives across all market operations. "Jon will focus
on analyzing and monitoring company practices in order to
streamline operations, continuously improve performance and enhance
customer service," said O'Day. "He will go through extensive
quality training and certification in the areas of Lean and Six
Sigma and will lead the company'sISO 9000 certification
efforts."
Crispi earned his bachelor of science degree in civil
engineering from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign,
Ill.
In replacing Crispi as general manager, Magdaleno will be
responsible for managing all day-today aspects of the Chicago
market operation. Prior to joining MedSpeed, Magdaleno was a senior
manager for FedEx Ground. "Jose will be a great asset to the
MedSpeed team," saidO'Day. "He brings with him over twenty
years of experience in transportation and logistics, including
significant management experience at both FedEx and UPS."
Magdaleno earned his bachelor of science degree in business
administration from Loyola University in Chicago, Ill.
